Fancy Text
Type ordinary text and copy it as bold, italic, monospace, fullwidth, or upside-down Unicode. The styled letters paste into bios and captions that do not offer a font menu.

How to use it
- Type the words you want to style.
- Copy the style you want from the list.
- Paste it into the bio or caption.
- If a site strips the characters, that site does not allow those Unicode letters.
A display name
The name βPro Hacksβ in mathematical bold uses a different code point for each letter. It still looks like the same words, and it pastes as text rather than as a picture.
These are not fonts. They are other Unicode characters that look like styled letters, which is why they survive a paste into Instagram, TikTok, Discord, and many bios. Letters and digits are mapped. Emoji and characters outside the map are left as they are. Upside-down text is reversed as well as flipped, so it reads in a mirror from the end. Screen readers may spell styled letters oddly, so keep styled text short and do not use it for anything someone must read precisely, such as an address.
Questions
How does a fancy text generator work?
It replaces AβZ, aβz, and digits with Unicode characters from the mathematical and fullwidth blocks that look like styled letters.
Will it work on Instagram?
Usually, in bios and captions. Stories that render text as their own graphics use the appβs fonts instead and will not keep these characters.
Why does some text look like empty boxes?
The device does not have a glyph for that character. Try another style. Bold and fullwidth are the most widely supported.
Is the text uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in the browser.
