Merge PDF
Join two or more PDF files into a single document. Put the pages in the order you want, then download one PDF. The files stay on your device.
This file never leaves your device. The tool runs in your browser.
How to use it
- Add two or more PDFs.
- Move files up or down until the order is right.
- Merge.
- Download the combined PDF.
A cover letter and a résumé
Add the cover letter first and the résumé second. The merged PDF opens on the letter, then continues into the résumé, as one attachment.
Contracts, boarding passes, and homework sets are easier to send as one file. Add the PDFs, move a file up or down, and merge. Bookmarks and form fields are not rewritten into a fancy packet. The pages themselves are copied in order. Encrypted PDFs need the password removed before they can be merged. A soft limit of about 80 MB per file keeps phone browsers from running out of memory.
Questions
How do I merge PDF files?
Add the files, arrange them, and press Merge. One PDF downloads with the pages in that order.
Will the pages be re-compressed?
Pages are copied, not re-photographed, so text stays text and the file does not pick up a generation of blur.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read in your browser and processed on this device. ProHacks does not receive the photo or the PDF.
Why did my PDF fail?
The usual cause is a password-protected file, or a damaged file. Remove the password and try again.
